Holly Binks is a clinical mental health counselor intern who understands what the stresses and challenges of life can bring. Holly has a holistic view towards counseling, considering all aspects of an individual’s life to create balance and peace.
She has been married for 19 years and has six children. Holly has a passion for motherhood and determination for empowering other mothers and women. She also believes that healthy relationships are crucial to one’s well-being. In this belief it is her goal to strengthen relationships and empower individuals by teaching them skills to establish and maintain healthy relationships.
Holly is trained in person centered theory and uses modalities such as cognitive behavior therapy, strength-based therapy, and solution focused therapy. She volunteers with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and has training in suicide prevention.
While working under direct supervision of Emily Freeze, Holly specializes in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. She also works with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and pornography addictions.
