  • Allie Slade, CSW

Allie is a Certified Social Worker (CSW) who is passionate about supporting teens, young adults, and their families through life’s challenges. Her primary areas of focus include eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, suicidal ideation, and the unique struggles that can arise during adolescence and young adulthood.

Allie earned her Master of Social Work degree from Utah Valley University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based and client-centered approaches to mental health care. Much of her clinical experience has involved working with adolescents and young adults, helping them navigate mental health concerns, identity development, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions.

Allie is particularly passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. She understands the complex relationship between food, emotions, self-worth, and societal pressures, and she strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore these challenges without judgment. Her goal is to help clients develop a healthier relationship with themselves, their bodies, and food while building confidence, resilience, and self-compassion.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Allie draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), strengths-based, and person-centered approaches to help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful change. She has also received training in play therapy and enjoys incorporating creative, developmentally appropriate interventions when working with children and adolescents.

Allie recognizes that adolescence and young adulthood can be both exciting and overwhelming, often bringing academic pressures, social media influences, family dynamics, relationship changes, and questions about identity and the future. She is committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where clients feel genuinely understood and empowered to work toward their goals.

Outside of her professional work, Allie enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends. She can often be found exploring the outdoors, reading a good book, watching movies, playing games, or spending time with her husband and dog, Honey.
