Since obtaining his master degree, Jason has worked in the field of Home Health and Hospice as a social worker, director and administrator of several hospice agencies. He has counseled many clients and families in understanding and coping with terminal illnesses. In addition, he is also experienced in grief counseling, including complicated grief. Jason has extensive background working with a variety of different populations and conditions. Prior to obtaining his master degree, he worked for 13 years at the Utah State Hospital and provided care and support to the mentally ill. He became skilled and proficient in Crisis Interventions and de-escalation strategies and techniques.

In addition to his extensive work in the field of Home Health and Hospice and work at the Utah State Hospital, Jason has worked extensively and worked with Adolescents, Men, and Women. He has specialized in area of Pornography Addiction and other Sex Addictions, Substance Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, Self Esteem and Self Worth issues, and Grief support. Jason utilizes therapeutic strategies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR for trauma, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.

Education & Training

Jason is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received his master in Social Work from Brigham Young University in 2005. He also earned his bachelors degree from Utah Valley State College in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology.

Personal/Interests

Jason has been married to his beautiful wife Robyn since 1998 and has 3 wonderful children and is a proud husband and father. He lives in Saratoga Springs. Jason loves all sports, but is passionate about football and is often found coaching youth tackle football teams. He loves being with his family, warm destinations, music, especially California Reggae and 80’s music, listening to audio books, taking his family to amusement parks, and especially loves Disneyland.
