    Benefits of attending marriage workshops…

What are the benefits of taking a marriage workshop vs. weekly couples therapy?

One of the main advantages of a couples’ workshop is the affordability. One or two day workshops give you a lot of learning and exploration for a fraction of the cost of therapy. The tools acquired are immediate and ready to be put to use at once. Change, therefore, can be quick! For some couples, a workshop is the perfect jump start they’ve needed to turn things around.

Typically, weekly therapy sessions are a fairly big investment in time, energy and finances. Some of the benefits of regular, weekly sessions in the privacy of the therapist’s office is that progress happens over several weeks or months. Couples therapy is individualized and unique to the couples needs, and slowly produces deep change and growth.

Both options have benefits that can be complimentary to each other. If you are interested in seeing what a marriage workshop can do for your marriage, we welcome you to join us!
