Specializing in Teens, Young Adults and Women’s Issues

*Student Intern ~ Supervised by Emily Freeze, LMFT, MPH, PMH-C

Mabel is one of our student interns from Utah Valley University. She is passionate about helping clients reconnect with their most authentic, whole selves by exploring the beliefs, emotions, and past experiences that have shaped them. She believes in the resilience of the human spirit and sees adversity as an opportunity for deep personal transformation.

Mabel holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and is currently a second-year Master of Social Work intern at Utah Valley University. She has extensive experience working in therapeutic settings, particularly with high-risk teens and diverse adult populations. Her work has included supporting individuals struggling with shame, depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, low self-worth, and suicidal ideation.

Her therapeutic approach is deeply holistic, integrating psychological, physical, and spiritual aspects of wellness. She specializes in inner child work, parts work (IFS), mindfulness, and EFT for deep emotional processing and healing. Mabel’s work is informed by attachment theory, somatic practices, and nervous system regulation, helping clients cultivate self-compassion and restore a sense of safety within themselves. She provides a supportive space where clients can explore their internal world, process difficult emotions, and develop an empowering belief system rooted in self-trust.

Outside of therapy, Mabel enjoys creating art, writing music, and spending time in nature. Originally from the beautiful state of Maine, she feels most at home near the ocean accompanied by her two adorable mini dachshunds.
